Sylfirm X RF Microneedling in Noosa
Microneedling with radiofrequency to firm, lift and resurface — targeting acne scarring, pigmentation, pores and laxity.
Book NowReal change, built on new collagen
Sylfirm X is one of the hardest working treatments on our menu, and the one we reach for when someone wants real change rather than a quick refresh. It combines very fine microneedling with radiofrequency energy, which warms the deeper layers of the skin and prompts it to build new collagen.
That makes it useful across a long list of concerns we see every day at our Noosa clinic: fine lines, skin that’s lost its firmness, large pores, acne scarring, redness and rosacea, and stubborn pigmentation including melasma. Because the settings can be dialled right in, your therapist adjusts each pass to suit your skin and what your Observ scan shows. Results build over the following weeks as new collagen forms, so the skin keeps looking firmer and smoother well after your appointment.

Frequently asked questions
What does Sylfirm X treat?
Quite a lot. Fine lines, loose or crepey skin, enlarged pores, acne scarring, redness and rosacea, and pigmentation including melasma. It’s one of the most versatile skin treatments we offer in Noosa.
Is there much downtime?
Most people have some redness for a day or two, similar to mild sunburn. It settles quickly, and we’ll send you home with simple aftercare to look after the skin while it heals.
How many treatments will I need?
For visible change, most clients do a course of three or four sessions a few weeks apart. We’ll confirm the right number once we’ve assessed your skin, and collagen keeps building for months afterwards.
Is it safe for sensitive or pigmented skin?
Yes. Sylfirm X has a strong track record across a wide range of skin types and tones, including reactive and pigment prone skin, when it’s done by an experienced therapist.
Can I have Sylfirm X if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
No. As a precaution we don’t perform RF microneedling during pregnancy or breastfeeding, simply because there isn’t enough safety research, even though the risk is thought to be low. We’ll happily put a plan together for when you’re ready afterwards.
Are there any conditions that would mean I can’t have Sylfirm X?
Yes, a few. Because it uses radiofrequency, we avoid it if you have a pacemaker or another electronic implant. We’d also postpone or adjust for active infections or cold sores in the area, a tendency to keloid scarring, recent roaccutane or isotretinoin use (usually within six months), uncontrolled diabetes, blood clotting issues or blood thinning medication, or any active skin cancer. Your consultation and Observ scan are there to check this before we begin.
